Our 2023/24 Open Day was held on Sunday, 17th September. Around 40 members and new players enjoying the fine weather. 2 games of 8 ends were played after Dianne Meade and Ron Mills, as club champions, rolled the first bowls for the season. President Barry Stonehouse welcomed everyone and wished all players well for the upcoming season. Practice sessions will be held on Fridays at 4 p.m. and we have 2 practice matches against Camperdown Golf and Lake Bolac before the pennant season kicks off.
Winning team on the day was Tempy’s Blues – Peter Templeton, Frank Kenna and Jenny Fowler with runners up – Dan Morrison and Jim Forssman. All games were played in great spirit.
