A good turn out for our January Triples event with 20 teams from around the region taking part on the day. Team Winsall ( Mark, Isaac and Glenn) with 3 wins, 94 points and +17 were overall winners on the day. Team Staggard ( David, Geoff and Ken) with 3 wins, 94 points and +8 were runners up.

A terrific day for our December Triples event.

20 teams from around the district competed on the day. The winning team was from Timboon – Peter Baker, Arthur Finch and Dianne Finch.

Runners up from Terang/Mortlake were Jim Forssman, John Milroy and Grant Gibson

A great day for our Allan Kidd Memorial Triples event.

20 teams from around the district competed on the day. The winning team was a combined Cobden/Terang unit of John Carlin. Terry Heffernan and Ken Densley.

Runners up from Terang were Brian Kenna, Frank Kenna and Alec Bell.

OCTOBER, 2023 TRIPLES EVENT sponsored by Molan’s

A wonderful start to our Triples Season, with 20 teams from around the district competing on the day. Some excellent bowling in chilly conditions highlighted the skill of our local bowlers.

Winners on the day were from Port Fairy – Jack, Smits, Jan Smits, Jill Oswin and Trevor Oswin. (3 wins, 98 pts) with runners up from Timboon. P. Rowe, G Bedggood and S Wines ( 3 wins, 92 pts)

November Triples -2022

A very wet A Green meant that play was restricted to B Green for the day. Thanks to Dan, Hendo, Jack, Jean and their crews for ensuring the day could go ahead. 12 teams from surrounding clubs took part and managed to complete all 3 games.

Our winners Jimmy, Max and Harry from Timboon were the only 3 game winners with Dan, Peter and Trevor runners up with 2 wins and a draw.

October Triples -2022

W.A Molan and Sons

A successful start to our Triples Season, with 24 teams from around the district competing on the day. Some excellent bowling in windy conditions highlighted the skill of our local bowlers.

Our local girls – Jenny, Anne and Dawn won today’s event and showed they are a force to be reckoned with. Runners up were Ron Cameron’s team.

April – 6/4/2022

Callaghan Motors Triples Event.

Thanks to Paul and Callaghan Motors for sponsoring our last Triples event for this season. Jimmy, Barry and Harry from Timboon BC won the day with Andrew, John and Greg from Terang BC runners up.

A great day was had by all, with excellent bowling in perfect conditions. Thanks to Dan and his team, Hendo and the greens gang and Jean and her band of helpers for their work throughout the season.

16 teams from around the district enjoyed 3 games of 10 ends. Our next Triples event will be in October, 2022. Until then we will be running Friday Pairs each week starting on 22nd April.

A good turnout for our December 2021 Triples, with 48 players from around the district taking the opportunity to play in excellent conditions.
