A perfect evening for our final round of the MacQueen’s Corporate Challenge. All teams were keen to take the points from their nearest opponents and make a move up the ladder. Our Rd 6 winners were Glen Cowboys.

Overall winners this year were Landscape Larrikins who proved to strong for Straight Drivers in the final round.

In 2nd place on equal points were Noorat Farmers, with Densley’s Dodgers finishing in 3rd place.

 

This year’s wooden spoon went to Terang Garden Supplies.

Thanks to all players who made this year’s event a huge success and to our hardworking volunteers for making sure everything ran smoothly.

Rd 2  MacQueen’s Corporate Challenge winners were Straight Drivers with a 23 shots up win, 2nd place Densley Dodgers (+20) and 3rd Christian’s Crusaders (+15).

6 teams remain undefeated – Landscape Larrikins, Straight Drivers, Molan’s Crushers, Co -op Centurians, Noorat Farmers and Cobrico Colts, all have a chance to consolidate their position’s at the top as they all play lower ranked teams in Rd 3.

Our highlight match saw Cooinda Cowboys win the shootout with Glen Cowboys.

Raffle winner was Liam O’Connor from Terang College.

Matches to watch next week: Cobrico Colts (6th) vs Green Queens (10th) this should be a close match and Queens will be keen to get back on the winners board after a narrow one shot lose. I’m tipping Queens to win.

Densley’s Dodgers (7th) vs Scanlon’s Scorchers (11th) – This will be close and both teams will be keen to win.  Scorchers to sizzle.

M. J. and Sons (26) vs Ridley Rats (27th) a chance for both teams to notch up their 1st win. Rats should win this one.

Rd 1 Winners – Molan Crushers. Don, Peter, Kerry and Leigh

Rd 1 Winners –  Molan Crushers win on a count back from The Mixtures, both teams with an impressive 20 shot up win.

A terrific start to our Macqueen’s Corportate Challenge, with 28 teams entered this year. Our winners on the night were Molan Crushers, +20,  The Mixtures in 2nd place +20 in 3rd spot Landscape Larrikins +18, new team, Green Queens, +15 and Terang College, +14 round out the top 5.

Welcome to our new players and teams and all the best for the rest of the competition.

It was wonderful to see several new teams and a number of new players enjoy the competition.
